Emma Herrnstadt

LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from University of Pennsylvania. My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, grounded in the understanding that present-day challenges are often shaped by past experiences and relationship patterns. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions, experiences, and concerns.

With more than a decade of experience in the mental health field, I have worked across a variety of settings, including schools and community mental health centers. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other life challenges, and I have a particular passion for supporting adopted individuals and adoptees. My goal is to help clients gain deeper insight, foster meaningful change, and develop a stronger sense of self and well-being.
