My approach to therapy is integrative, balanced, allowing us to develop a partnership and use your strengths to develop the therapeutic tools needed to help overcome your challenges and achieve your goals. My experience extends over fifteen years in outpatient psychotherapy services with effective treatment outcomes through utilization of therapeutic interventions using CBT and DBT modalities.
I received a BA from Alfred University, New York, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, New York. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, and I am recognized regionally for treating SIB, self- mutilation behaviors, PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and emotional dysregulation.
I specialize in individual, couples, family therapy, and enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I work with patients presenting with a multitude of concerns including anxiety, stress, PTSD, self-esteem. ADHD management, codependency, depression, emotional dysregulation, sexual abuse/trauma, domestic violence, and borderline personality disorder. I have expertise in suicide assessment and crisis intervention.
