Julie Leininger

LMFT

My therapeutic approach is both trauma-informed and systemic, drawing from training in Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to address challenges, cultivate hope, and build healthier relationships. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or trauma, we will collaborate to find a path forward that supports healing.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working in a variety of environments, including therapeutic foster care, community mental health, and private practice. These diverse settings have deepened my understanding that our experiences do not happen in isolation; rather, we are part of multiple interconnected systems, including familial, societal, and political.

No matter the circumstances, life can often be overwhelming. We all struggle at times to manage difficult moments, which can lead to feelings of isolation and distress. Recognizing these challenges is an important step toward healing. Relationships, while sometimes a source of hurt, are also central to healing. I believe that meaningful connections—with ourselves, loved ones, and our communities—are essential for recovery and growth.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I look forward to walking alongside you on your therapy journey.
