Ross Hunter (he/him) received his bachelor’s and master's degree from Tulane University. After working in affordable housing advocacy and community engagement in New Orleans, he chose to pursue an MSW from Tulane with the goal of becoming a licensed psychotherapist. Ross arrived at Evergreen in 2020 as an intern in the final stages of his training, and seeking to sharpen his therapeutic skills under the supervision of a staff with a wide breadth of experience.
Ross recognizes that every person has unique emotional circumstances, perspectives, and needs. He seeks to validate their lived experiences while at the same time helping to foster positive growth and self-actualization. Ross aims to ensure that clients feel respected and safe, endeavoring to practice cultural humility and transparency on matters that fall beyond his purview.
A life-long Southerner, Ross is very excited to be a part of the Greater Philadelphia area.
